Founded in 1992, Housing Forward provides comprehensive, wraparound support from the onset of a financial or housing crisis to its resolution. We prevent homelessness whenever possible, respond immediately when it does occur, and provide permanent, stable housing for the most vulnerable members of our community. 

Key programs include homelessness prevention, street outreach, and permanent supportive housing. We also offer a walk-in Support Center in Maywood that offers laundry, showers, a computer center, and case management services to anyone in the community in need of support.

Our mission is to transition people from housing crisis to housing stability. We offer a full range of programs and services that are 1) participant-centered, 2) integrated, 3) modeled using best practices and 4) designed to reduce the length of time and impact of trauma associated with homelessness and housing instability.
