At Ascension, our commitment to patients and families begins with the doctors, nurses, and care teams serving in our hospitals and care sites across the country. Our Catholic identity and healing Mission call us to care for everyone with dignity and respect, valuing those we serve and those we serve alongside.
Ascension Behavioral Health has been providing comprehensive behavioral health and addictions services to the Proviso Township community for over 55 years, serving all age ranges. We also provide residential services including three 24-hour supervised group homes for individuals with mental illness that require long-term support and a transitional living program (Community Living Center) that provides skills-based training to support individuals in transitioning to independent living in the community.
Specialty programs include our Children’s Advocacy Center in Broadview, which provides forensic interviews for victims of abuse/neglect and trauma-based therapy to support children and their families in the recovery process. Our Child Development Center in Bellwood provides Head Start and Early Head Start programs to support the developmental needs of children via a nationally recognized education program to prepare children for academic success.
Our Strengthening Families Program and Centro de Salud support the Latino community with therapy services, family support and resources to support families in the community.
